Shrimp farming is an aquaculture business for the cultivation of marine shrimps or prawns for human consumption and is now considered as a major economic and food production sector as it is an increasingly important source of protein available for human consumption. There are lot of challenges that are faced during farming of shrimp. Among them Diseases are primary constraint to the growth of many shrimp species, which are exposed to stressful conditions, adverse environmental conditions. Intensification of aquaculture had led to the promotion of conditions that favor the development of a number of diseases and problems related to biofouling. Consequently, wide ranges of chemicals particularly antimicrobial agents are used in shrimp farming to prevent and to treat diseases. The usage of these antimicrobial agents has increased enormously and ton of antibiotics are distributed in the biosphere during an antibiotic era. In shrimp farming, the passage and permanent existence of large amounts of antibiotics in the environment of water and sediments also have the potential to affect the presence of the normal flora and plankton in those niches, resulting in shifts in the diversity of the microbiota. In this view, the development of nonantibiotic agents for health management in shrimp farming is necessary. Probiotics were known to control pathogens through a variety of mechanisms; hence, they are exploited as an alternative to antibiotic treatment.Diseases are now considered as one of the critical limiting factors in the shrimp culture. Serious viral disease outbreaks of shrimp challenge the shrimp industry. In this view, the development of nonantibiotic agents for health management in shrimp farming is necessary. Probiotics were known to control pathogens through a variety of mechanisms; hence, they are exploited as an alternative to antibiotic treatment.
For this we use “Aquaproblac” as feed probiotics for shrimps which is a perfect blended mixture of probiotics, Feed enzymes, Essential vitamins and trace minerals that are very effective in increasing the health. The presence of probiotics in it helps in removing bad pathogen and promotes good bacteria which improve digestion and health. The vitamins and minerals provide nutrients to the body for better metabolic activity. The enzyme helps in better digestion of the feed and extract essential nutrients from the feed. With the daily usage of this probiotics it provides many health benefits.
1. Prevents and control the growth of bacterial pathogens in the gut.
2. Helps in enhancing better growth.
3. Prevent loose shell disease.
4. Helps in reducing mortality ratio.
5. Maintains optimum immunity and health.
6. Better consumption of feed.
7. Improves efficiency of digestive system.
